Upper Sandusky is Unique

I just came back from a state superintendent's meeting in Columbus. I learned a lot and was able to talk and share with many superintendents from all over the state. But one thing I learned made me super proud of our district - we care about the continued learning of our graduates and community even after they graduate! U.S. Community Outreach allows us to do that with its adult classes and the informative newsletter that goes out to over 3,000 individuals all around the county. U.S. Community Outreach makes us unique. I was asked many questions about how we got such a great program started, what types of classes we offer, and how we are organized. There is a lot of interest out there to get this type of educational outreach started in other schools and communities, but they just haven't been able to get it off the ground. I am proud to be part of such a forward-thinking school district and community! We truly support life-long learning for all our citizens.
